    Head Pastor

    Pete grew up in the Coachella Valley on a farm. He moved to the Inland Empire after high school to go to college. He became a believer through a Christian Home ministry during the Jesus Movement. He graduated from San Bernardino Valley College in 1977. He then attended Bible School in Oklahoma for a year. He came back to the Inland Empire to help plant a church where he and his wife Debbie currently pastor. They also pastored the Youth and Children’s ministries. He has always been involved in education, both private and public, and is currently employed in the Colton Joint Unified School District. Pete has graduate degrees in Business Administration, Religious Studies and Education. The church adopted into the Vineyard Movement in 1996. Pete has been married to his best friend Debbie since 1979. They have three adult daughters, Bethany, Micah and Danielle.

    Debbie Tasaka

    Worship Pastor

    Debbie has been involved in ministry since 1978. Debbie supports the ministry by leading worship, serving in the women ministry, overseeing the Community feeds and working with the youth. Debbie is passionate about worship and seeing others connect with God through worship. She is also passionate about women and youth and helping them to feel loved by God and to understand their value and worth. Debbie loves spending time with her family. She feels blessed to have a wonderful husband and 3 wonderful daughters. Debbie is also a teacher at Bloomington Christian School. She enjoys crafting, sewing, playing guitar, going to Disneyland, reading books and watching Marvel and Star Wars movies.

    Aurelio & Linda De La Torre

    Aurelio and Linda De La Torre started attending the Colton Vineyard in 1987. They currently support the pastoral staff and serve on the church’s board. They served in many areas of the church during their membership, including children’s ministry and youth ministry. They are very actively involved in the city of Colton.

    Children's Church

    Danielle has served as the Children’s Pastor at the Colton Vineyard since March 2016. Danielle was raised in the Vineyard church. She is passionate about seeing children of all ages worshiping and serving God together. Danielle believes that even children have a big part to play in the church, and she strives to create a loving and safe environment for them to do so. She is fun loving and silly, and she brings that same attitude with her every Sunday to church. Danielle has received her bachelor’s degree in education and master's degree in special education from Cal State University, San Bernardino. She is currently earning her teaching credential. In her spare time, Danielle likes to hang out with her family and friends, read, do photography, and she enjoys trips to Disneyland.
